FALL 2017 WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Baltimore, MD. (May 12, 2017) – Table Legs Online is honored to announce the recipient of The Future Entrepreneurs of America $500 Scholarship, for the Fall 2017 semester. The winner is future Ohio State University student: Erinn Aulfinger of Liberty Township, Ohio.

Erinn Aulfinger Erinn Aulfinger is a published author of the book Rewriting Your Story, a self-help book for young girls designed to raise their self-esteem, which studies show drops for girls upon entering puberty due to body image issues, bullying, academic stress, societal gender bias, and a weakened relationship with one’s parents.  Erinn brainstormed the idea for the book, raised the money to publish it, and was frequently asked to speak to the community on behalf of girls.  Her efforts to help her community have resulted in her receiving many awards, including being named an “Everyday Young Hero” and receiving the President’s Volunteer Service award for over 250 hours of volunteer service in a single year. In addition to helping girls, Erinn is co-editor-in-chief of her award-winning school news magazine, Mock Trial team Captain, and an active member of Girl Scouts, including being Program Director for the regional Leadership Conference, a former student member of the Board of Directors, and recently earning her GOLD award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting.  Erinn plans to attend Ohio State University in the Fall, double-majoring in Business and Journalism, with a side interest in Women’s studies & Social Justice.  She plans to continue her efforts to improve the world for women and the under-served as she moves forward.
